Person

I hold a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Strategy & Management in International Organizations from Linköping University in Sweden and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Cruise Industry Management awarded at the Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences in Germany. I am a full member of the Cruise Research Society. I have also spent a term studying Tourism Management at the University of Sunderland in England as an exchange student. I spend my free time with reading, running, playing guitar and writing. I like philosophy and loud music.

Education & work

Of particular interest to me is the management of information systems in tourism organisations in general and the cruise industry in particular. My interests are located at the intersection between cruise tourism, user-generated content, the social web, service / operations research, using mixed-method research.
I am fluent in German, English, Swedish as well as some programming languages. I also speak some French.
